*A quick word of advice. The event we were attending was a fundraiser for a client, and I did not know I was going until a week before. However, since I already had a tux, all I had to do was try it on the week before to check for any issues, bring to my tailor for a quick adjustment, and I was ready to go. Meanwhile a few friends of mine had to scramble to get a rental in time, and at $200 for the evening. So as you begin to progress professionally, consider investing in a classic tuxedo. It will pay for itself in 4 or 5 uses, and look infinitely better than a rental. But be sure to start looking before you find out you need one. Give yourself enough time to pick out the pieces based on what you want instead of just what is available.
